Long Island Engagement Photographer: Engagement Session in Head of Harbor

I was really happy when Danielle contacted me to be her Long Island Engagement Photographer for her engagement photo session. After hearing all about how her fiancee Justin was going to bring an old green Chevy pick-up truck for their engagement shoot on a private property in Head of Harbor, NY I was super excited to get some unique and creative photos. Both Danielle and Justin kept with the theme of the shoot and stylized themselves by wearing jeans and plaid shirts. They later changed to another dressier outfit. There were so many great photos from this shoot that it was so hard to pick a couple of favorites, hence a blog post was in order. I absolutely loved the green truck and we got a bunch of fun shots with it.

I am absolutely in love with their expressions here. Don’t you just love how cute they are?

We then did a quick change of outfit for some dressier and formal engagement photos.

Oh the warmth of that setting sun.

The house was set on a cliff on the water on a private beach. Unfortunately it was just way too windy and cold to head down to the beach but I was not going to pass up on a beautiful sunset. Fortunately they were both game for a few quick photos.

We then ran inside the house and concluded with a photo in the wine cellar.

Long Island Bat Mitzvah Photographer: The Sands Atlantic Beach

What a beautiful day it was for this Long Island Bat Mitzvah celebration at the Sands Atlantic Beach. I had the great opportunity of capturing Lauren’s bat mitzvah celebration and the Sands offered many great photo opportunities. I loved that we were able to take advantage and photograph some of Lauren’s portraits and family photos outside by the beach. I absolutely love the ocean blue doors by the white boardwalk out in back of The Sands. Even the inside provides for some great photo opportunities including a piano and staircase.

The family was so nice to work with, and Lauren, the Bat Mitzvah girl was one of the sweetest 13 year olds. I just loved her pretty coral pink dress. It really matched up perfectly with the beach theme! I had a great time capturing these portraits and all the special highlights of her birthday party. Congratulations again, Lauren! It was great being part of your special day.
