I love taking Sweet 16 photography as well as photos of Weddings, Mitzvahs and other parties at the Westbury Manor. Not only do they have a great outdoor setting to host your cocktail hour (weather permitting of course), but they have some of the most beautiful lush green gardens, flowers, bridges and paths which serves as a beautiful backdrop for photographing the formals of your special event. You definitely don’t want to skip out on getting professional photos taken of your Sweet 16 here.

I was thrilled to take these photos of Sydney’s Sweet 16. She wore the most prettiest pink dress and looked absolutely stunning. Her court was all dressed in white and they all wore matching pink shoes. I began by taking some photos of Sydney by herself and then of her with her court and her family.

Then it was time to party. Sydney opted out of having the traditional candle lighting but she still had her special dance with her dad and everyone sang happy birthday to her and then had a cake.

After that, we proceeded to take some night photos of her outside before it was time for me to go. So glad that we did them. I love capturing night shots.

This summer I had the pleasure to photograph Stephanie again. But this time it wasn’t for headshots, but for her Sweet 16 Birthday Party at the Sheraton Laguardia East in NYC. Apparently she wasn’t really interested in having a Sweet 16 party for herself but after attending a friends, she immediately dialed her Mom and Dad from the party and told them ” I want one.” To which they replied, “you want what?” ” A party…..a Sweet 16 party.” Mom and Dad both agreed and then all the preparations began.

It was a beautiful summer evening at the Sheraton. Stephanie had her party in one of their ballrooms and we got to take advantage of taking some photos on their beautiful outdoor terrace.

Then the party began. And before you knew it, it was time for the candle lighting ceremony.

Then Stephanie went to change dresses and after a bunch of speeches it was time for her to cut her cake.

Long Island Sweet 16/Carlyle on the Green in Bethpage

I wanted to share this collection of images from Kiera’s Sweet 16 at Carlyle on the Green in Bethpage, Long Island that took place earlier this summer. Kiera is a beautiful girl and the dress that she wore was an absolute stunner. She truly looked like a model. It was a beautiful day most of the day so we were fortunate enough to take some portraits outdoors on the beautiful grounds of Carlyle on the Green in Bethpage State Park. Just as we began, some dark, threatening clouds came rolling in. And then a few drops came down and all the girls ran back inside before the rain came pouring down. We finished up with a few more shots indoors before the party started. It was a great party. The DJ’s kept the party going on the dance floor as Kiera and her friends danced the night away and everyone had a great time.

It was an honor and pleasure to photograph Kiera’s Sweet 16 at Carlyle on the Green in Bethpage. Congratulations again to Kiera on her Sweet 16!

Last month Jeni contacted me to come out and take some portraits of her, her lovely family and her best friends at her Sweet 16 party held at the Stuart Thomas Manor in East Farmingdale in Long Island NY. She looked absolutely beautiful in her red gown and she even rocked out some glitzy red Converse shoes that she blinged out specially for the occasion. Long Island Sweet 16 Photographer/Melissa’s Sweet 16

I absolutely love birthdays. Sweet 16’s are even extra special. It’s not every day that a girl gets to play dress up and wear a beautiful gown and tiara and dance the night away. Last month I got to photograph Melissa’s Sweet 16 at Verdi’s of Westbury in Long Island, NY. She had a very simple affair but make no mistake it was an extremely fun one. Melissa’s family and friends certainly loved to party and you can tell from the pics that everyone had a great time. I was able to get some portraits of Melissa and her family prior to the party and then captured some highlights of the festivities. Below are some of my favorites from the event.
