CONTEMPORARY GLAMOUR SESSIONS
For the woman who wants to have timeless, classic, beautiful and glamorous creative portraits. A contemporary, “magazine styled” photography session designed for the every day woman. This is for all women at any age. Single women, wives, mothers, grandmothers and great-granmothers, mothers and daughters all have a reason for tasteful, memorable photos. From High School Seniors to Mature Women, every woman deserves to have professional beauty portraits. Typically the last professional photo a woman has of herself is her high school senior or her wedding portrait. Photos from these sessions are also ideal for business profiles, personal gifts, maternity, celebrating milestones, birthdays or just to celebrate YOU, because YOU ARE BEAUTIFUL.
Frequently Asked Questions
I am not a model and I do not know how to pose, can I do this?
Every woman is beautiful in their unique and special way and deserves to be in front of the camera for this life changing experience. You do not need to know how to pose. I don’t expect you to. Throughout your session I will coach and direct you through the whole shoot so that you look your very best.
I’m a little nervous………what can I expect?
Being nervous is completely normal. Everyone is always a bit nervous in the beginning. You can expect to have loads of fun and your nerves will fade away as we progress through the session. I guarantee you that we will be laughing in no time. Clients always tell me how much fun they had after their experience and always leave wanting more.
Will you post any of my images on the internet?
I will never post or share your images unless you have signed a model release that gives me permission to do so. All photos that appear on my web page and blog are of clients that have signed model releases and have given me permission to do so. If you want your pictures to remain private, then private they shall remain no matter how awesome your photos are. Prior to your shoot we will discuss your comfort level and decide on what you may to share (if any). Some women are proud of their pictures and want to share them, while others are not as comfortable, or are comfortable only sharing images that are not identifiable. Your personal gallery will always be password protected.
Where do the sessions take place?
Sessions can take place at my studio, your home, or any location of your choice.
Do you have a cancellation/rescheduling policy?
Once you book a session with Irene Bella Photography, you have to leave a retainer to hold your date. You may of course reschedule your session at least once without losing your retainer fee. After that, you will lose the retainer and will need to secure a new one. Please note that if you do not give at least 48 hour notice, your retainer is nontransferable and you will need to book another session date.
What is the refund policy?
Due to the custom nature of photography, the session price and all products ordered are non-refundable.
Do you retouch the images?
All final images that you purchase are fully edited and retouched to perfection so that you look your very best. This will include removal of dark circles under the eyes, blemish removal, removal of stretch marks, skin softening, fixing stray hairs and any other special requests that you may have.
Can I bring a friend along?
You may certainly bring a girlfriend along, but please no men allowed. I understand that you may be a little nervous and having a friend or sister there may ease any anxiety you may have.
How far in advance do I need to book a session?
It is recommended that you schedule your session at least 3-4 weeks before you would like your finished product(s).
How do I prepare for my session?
Please make sure your hair is trimmed and colored at least two weeks before to allow to fix any mishaps and for your cut to grow in a bit. Please make sure you are shaved or wax prior to your session. If waxing, please allow at least 5 days prior to your session to ensure that all bumps and rashes are gone. This goes for eyebrows as well. DO have a manicure or pedicure done shortly before the session. Absolutely NO FAKE TANS done one week prior to your shoot. Why? Because it just does not look good in the pictures. And finally, don’t wear tight clothes 2-3 hours before the shoot. Tight jeans leave impressions on the skin that doesn’t look flattering in photos.
What should I wear?
Some ideas to include are long flowing dresses, blazers, sexy dresses, evening dresses, jeans and white t-shirt, blouses, tulle skirts with corsets. Feel free to mix and match pieces for a contrasting look.
